This full day 50 mile ride will require that you trailer your own ATV about 60 miles to John's Valley. From there you'll ride east on the Great Western Trail to Pine Lake. We'll continue on the Great Western to the Escalante Mountains and Barney Top. From there we'll travel south on a side trail almost to Powell Point, a beautiful overlook out into the red rock cliffs and monuments of Lake Powell country. The last 1/4 mile to the Point is a hiking trail only. If time allows we'll ride north on the Great Western toward Griffin Top and some beautiful pine forest. The entire ride will be about 40 miles on improved and unimproved dirt and gravel roads and should be suitable for "Beginner+" and "Intermediate" riders.
