This full day 40 mile ride will take riders up the west slope of Thousand Lake Mountain, to Elkhorn Campground. Then along the south and east edges of the 'rim' where they will look down on Capitol Reef National Monument and Cathedral Valley and the red desert beyond. The Henry Mountain range will be in full view to the southeast. Beyond, though unseen, is Lake Powell. This ride involves portions of the Great Western Trail and has been rated for "Intermediate" riders. You will have to trailer your own ATV about 45 miles to Mill Meadow.

Good ride with lots and lots to see!  The guides are great and go out of their way to make sure you're having fun.  This ride is a "must do" as the country you see is the type of country you only see in pictures.  The view of Capital Reef National Monument is breath taking.

It's a great ride and worth your time!  This is a fairly easy intermediate ride.  There are a couple of steep and narrow parts but the rest is fairly easy.
