These are full day 60-70 mile rides that begin in Salina. You must trailer your own ATV to Salina (approx. 20 mi.). There will be two separate routes to choose from. Each route will take you east up Salina Canyon along the main Paiute #01 trail and then along sidetrail #09 to the Gooseberry Trail head. From this point, separate rides will head out along the Great Western Trail (GWT) into the beautiful Gooseberry Creek drainage; other riders will go north along the GWT toward Musinea Peak. All rides involve some rough, steep and challenging trails. These rides are rated as "Intermediate+."
