#5 - The Challenge (Richfield)

This ½ day ride will take you into the red hills and eroded washes of the foothills of the Pahvant Mountain Range. It will begin in Richfield and proceed west up a canyon trail. This is a very challenging narrow gorge. At the top of this section we go over some slick rock and steep hills. Then about 2 miles on a dirt road we trail up along a large canyon ridge. This is a little faster, but also challenging until we arrive at the Paiute 01 trail. About 4 miles down the Paiute 01 and 04, we will turn off and take the final challenging leg of the ride along some canyon cliffs, then on to Richfield. This ride is approximately 35 miles and requires your attention all the way. "Advanced+" riders only please.
