Where to ride in end of March ?

Hi,
I have to take my remaining 2005 holidays in the last 2 weeks of March.
I am an experienced rider (Polaris 800) from Germany and want to rent an ATV.
Is weather suitable in March?
Don�t want too much cold and prefer more warm sun riding.
Got enough cold back here.
Is Paiute Trail too early for March!
I am not fixed to Utah if that period is still to cold.
how about New Mexico?
thanks for any suggestions.

There is a great jamboree out of Hurricane, Utah in March. It is only three days but you could do it and ride in the area a few more days and then head to the Piaute. Most, if not all of the high country will be locked up with snow but there are plenty of trails down low to keep you busy. You could also ride over in the Moab area and the San Rafael Swell. All of those areas will have riding available. To learn more about the jam you can look on this web site for details and can register for it as well here. What part of Germany are you coming from?

Around the end of March much of the Paiute Trails high country will still be deep under a blanket of snow. My recommendation would be go further south. the Arizona/Utah strip is awesome in March. Not too hot not too cold. Perfect riding weather. Pack a rain coat as some of those spring rain showers can come on fast. The Tri-State ATV Jamboree is March 9 thru 11 of 2006. Plenty of friendly ATV riders to meet and have a great time with. If your going to rent an ATV you best find one and reserve it now no matter where you go. they are getting tough to find. Not that there are not plenty to rent, it's just that they get reserved early.

If you make the Tri-State ATV Jamboree stop by the ATVUtah booth and say howdy.
