Are motorbikes allowed on trails

Hi, first time poster. My family is planning a vacation near circleville and marysville, are the trails motorbike friendly? And I guess I should have said I have 2 girls riding them with about one years experience. My 13 year old has a TTR-125 and 11 year old has a TTR-90. Thanks for the possible input. Mike

Yes the Paiute Trails are motorbike friendly. The trail system is a multi-use trail system meaning it's open to just about everyone.

Motorcycles, Jeeps, ATV's, horses, Dune buggy, Rock Crawlers, are all welcome. Vehicles wider than 50" are restricted from a few narrow trail sections but that's not enough to keep them from coming. They will still find plenty to explore. Motorbikes can go on all the trails.

Your girls will need good helmets, it's the law. They will also need an OHV education certificate from Utah or one of the many States who have similar programs and who's certificate Utah honors. Is the education certificate really required for motorcycles?  I thought it was only required for ATVs.  I ask, because at USRA desert races there are hundreds of kids under 8 years of age racing their motorcycles, and I have never even heard of a requirement for the education certificate for mini bike racers age 8 to 15, or even big bike racers under age 16.

To operate an OHV on public lands , you must have one of the following :

      1) a valid drivers license

      2)  A Division of Parks and Recreation OHV certificate

children under eight cannot operate an OHV on public lands

   Snowmobiles , m/c's  , atv's  are all considered OHV's

Not having a certificate is kinda like not having a current registration . You can get away with it - for a while . My kids have all been checked for it . If you're anywhere close to a state park you can bet you'll be checked .

I've never even heard of a safety class for dirt bikes.  We've all taken the ATV safety class, but each time we went to a class for one of our family members when they were starting out on their own ATV, the only people that were at the classes were other ATV riders.  I've never seen a motorcyclist at the three separate classes we've gone to over the years.  Is it the same class, and my 12 year old would just show up with his 65cc dirt bike instead of an ATV?

The paper test I think is the same but a different class for the bikes.
