Hi,  my husband are going on the Fillmore rides and we have a new Polaris 4 wheel drive, ATV. Are there certain rides we should not try?

Oh man you'll have a ball. I guess im a little confused on the question. I think to rate trails for an ATV it is more a matter of riding skill and how comfortable you are on certain kinds of trails. As far as he Polaris no matter what anyone says you have a great machine and if you take care of it, it will take care of you.
Always wear your headgear and have FUN Grin

Nancy:

I have to start out asking you "Will you be riding double"?  If that is the case I would not reccmend trying White Sage (I guess it is nicked Black Sage now due to a fire last summer).  The reason is the trail is steep, narrow, and some off camber places.  I'm not saying it can't be done riding double because it has.  I fully agree with Lurch, your Polaris will handle any of the trail rides, rider skill plays a more important role.  If you are new to trail riding and quads, let your guide know before you start out and they will make sure you get the help to get thruogh thr rough spots.

I have two Polaris Quads.  One is a 700 Twin and the other is a Sportsman 500 HO.  I would have to echo the statements from the other wise quad riders.  Wear a helmet, take it easy and don't ride over you capabilities.  It doesn't hurt to push to get better, but don't go too far.  You will have a blast and can learn from others along the trail

Hi, For all who replied to my question, thank you! I guess I did not make myself clear. Our Polaris is NOT a conventional ATV, it looks like a glorified 4x golf cart with a bench seat in front and a small bed on the back. How would that be on the rides?
Thanks,
Nancy
