All Day Rides:
Pine Lake Powell Point Ride Degree of Difficulty = Intermediate
This magnificent ride features Powell Point where on can literally see over 100 miles away. From this vantage point you can see Lake Powell, Escalante, and more. You will also see 1,000 year old bristlecone pine trees. Elevations on this ride exceed 10,000 feet making for a truly awe inspiring experience.
Great Western Paunsaugunt Ride Degree of Difficulty = Intermediate
The Paunsaugunt is the premier wildlife area, famous for its massive deer and elk. This ride features Tropic Reservoir, breath taking scenery, and beautiful pink cliffs. This area is also known as a haven for fly fishing enthusiasts.
Casto Canyon West Hunt Ride Degree of Difficulty = Intermediate to Advanced
Ride back through the ages of time as you see how this area was formed. See igneous rock formations, lava flows, and incredible red rock formations in an up close and personal way. Let your imagination flow as you ride through an area where the legendary Butch Cassidy used to hide out. One guest put it this way, the best way to describe this ride is Scenic Overload.
It is possible to encounter wildlife. Do not fear them. They will generally run away to get away from you. Chasing animals is illegal. Stay on the trail. However, do keep your cameras ready for the picture perfect opportunity. Keep in mind that the rally is held at an elevation of over 7500 feet. Higher elevations have lower oxygen levels and weather fluctuations. Be prepared with extra clothing, plenty of water, and snacks. Helmets and Goggles are required. It is also a good idea to make sure your ATV is jetted properly for the altitude changes. Extra fuel is an added security.
Events:
Following the all day rides we offer a variety of activities for the ATV enthusiasts. Dirt track races, blind mans rodeo, ATV pulling contest, ATV drag races, and mud bog provide entertainment and fun for people of all ages. There is also a concession booth and vendors offering ATV related products.
Scenic Tours, an elk preserve, a world class wildlife museum, hiking, fishing, horseback rides, scenic flights are all conveniently located nearby for your enjoyment.
Note: There are over 2,500 miles of OHV trails in Garfield County.
