What about UTVs

Hey all,
I have moved from ATV to UTV (side x side, Polaris RZR). Are these allowed at the National ATV Rally?
Thanks,
DK

Dk I'm positive the RZR is welcome at the National Jamboree if it's not been modified and widened over the 50" stock width. I'm also pretty sure they have rides that accommodate wider side by sides as well but I have forwarded your question to the man in charge of the jam and expect his answer soon.

Dirk;
There have been a mixture of ATV & UTV machines at the Jamboree.  There are some trails with restrictions on as to which units are allowed, so before you sign up for a ride ask around to see if your UTV is okay for that ride.   The one ride that comes to mind is the Kimberly Ride going up from Fremont staging area, there is gate to limit machine width, however if you sign up for that ride there is an alternate route that will get you around that area. The desert rides, Filmore Loop haven't had any restrictions on them in the past as most of those routes are either Forest Service or BLM roads.  You will be able to find plenty of rides that will accomidate you unless there have been major changes for this year.
