The Ram Mount Cradle For SPOT

The RAM Mount Cradle for SPOT I was expecting to be here in todays stock order did not arrive. They have been placed on back order by RAM. RAM expects to have them to us dealers by July 15th.

My sales rep also said they have never had a new product hit such a high demand so quickly. They may be tough to get for a while. I am taking pre-orders for those interested. So if you want one order it now and get on the waiting list. Just remember they will not ship until after July 15th. I will only take as many orders as I have been allocated units for so if you order now you are guaranteed to get one.

Sorry, I may have missed earlier posts. Has anyone tried it and does it work as well as it sounds. It looks like a must have! I boat in the gulf of Mexico and this sure would make the wife feel better.

Both the SPOT and the mount mentioned here work great.

Like all Ram products this one is top shelf.
Custom fitted, holds the SPOT solid and still gives you access to the buttons.
If you want a mounted SPOT this is the way to do it.

If you want to leave it in the case Gary gives you for free with the spot he has another RAM mount that holds it just fine inside the case.

An update on the SPOT cradle by RAM Mounting systems.

Apparently due to some sort of manufacturing problems RAM has not explained, we are now looking at mid August before these are expected to arrive.

Then chose the mounting option separately from those listed in the description section of the cradle and buy the one you need.
