Did this come out of the Access Advocate ?

This was pretty tough to read but what I could read was very good reading .


I would like to get a hard copy of this article .

Hawthorne's Article is excellent. Highlights the dangers for all sides in taking the 2477 issue to court.

Sad, but predictable, to see Interior return to the Babbit era legal positions on 2477. Also sad that any of this decisionmaking is in Judge Campbell's hands. She's a fine judge, but this area of law isn't her forte, and her experience as a former assistant US attorney, I think, tends to slant her judgment in favor of the feds. Benson, Kimball, or Jenkins are all much better judges for the complex federal land cases like 2477. (SUWA, incidentally, will withdraw and re-file their cases in Utah Federal court if they draw Judge Benson.)
