The Utah/Arizona ATV Club also believes in the practice of preserving the natural beauty of our public lands, treading lightly and cleaning up as we go. This year’s Fun Run is expecting many other ATV enthusiasts from the tri-state area to take part in this year’s exciting ride, so make your plans early. We invite you, your family and friends to come and enjoy this FUN RUN event along with us. Meet new friends and if you choose you can take a chance to win many of the great prizes available this year. Soft drinks and lunches are available ($5 per person) at the staging area. The Utah/Arizona ATV Club is a well-established non-profit organization with more than 150 individual members coming from Southern Utah, and Northern Arizona. Our club takes pride in our volunteer community service activities. The club is involved in many other community service events such as highway clean up, monitoring and cleaning OHV Trails and protecting our public lands. We often support our local schools and students and other community charitable organizations. With our varied membership and our fellowship, we enjoy riding our ATV’s through some of the most beautiful ATV trails in the USA.
Since 2007, our ATV Club has helped develop several new recreational Trailhead Staging areas with the ‘Peak-A-Boo’ trailhead and staging area being the most recent. The new Crocodile/Hog Canyon trailhead, in Johnson Canyon is the staging area for this year’s Fun Run. These new staging areas provide outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to access our local designated ATV trails and roads. Our efforts are not only for the OHV enthusiasts; the staging areas also benefit other visitors interested in a variety of outdoor activities year round. Additionally, our Club provides instruction by teaching responsible OHV operation enforcing the concept of “Tread Lightly” and encouraging outdoor ethics to preserve the beauty of our public lands.
The Utah/Arizona ATV Club works closely with citizens from our local communities; we enjoy the support of the City of Kanab, Kane County, Kane County Travel Council, the B.L.M. and the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument field offices in putting this Fun Run together. We thank the many local businesses who offer contributions and sponsorship, which ensures the success of this annual event.
