This wash out on the Deer Creek Trail PST 74 will be the object of our Service Project during the Marysvale UTV Jamboree. We will install fenceposts and heavy wire and then demonstrate the unique ability of the UTV to haul rock in and dump it behind the fence thus creating a barrier to protect the trail.

Those who sign up and participate in this project will be given a special treat as we will be fed burgers or sandwiches at Hoover's Grill.  Wow, thanks Arlan.

With the help of 19 Paiute UTV Jamboree participants and Bryan Carter from the Forest Service we were able to repair the eroded area on the Deer Creek trail with Tposts, heavy guage wire and tons of rocks.  Afterwards we all fed at Hoover's and we played Paiute Trail Trivia for free tickets to white water rafting from Kenny Lone at Big Rock Candy Mountain.

I rode down Deer Creek on Wednesday and saw the "eroded portion" you are talking about.  It did eat up a good portion of the trail.  Thanks to you and others that took care of this.   Smiley

The thanks should go to Hoover's who sponsored the project and Kenny Lone who assisted, but most of all to those that volunteered.  It was a great project.
