RV tires

I have a 2008 Cameo 5th wheel, it came with 235/80R-16E tires by Duro. 15,000 miles and they are totaled, steel belt at the side wall area is failing. I would like some input from people that I know tow a lot of trailers of all types. Any input, both pro and con would be great. Just to let you know some of the brands that have been suggested to me are Goodyear,Carlisle, Greenball, Hi-Run, Maxxis , just to name a few. This trailer will weigh in around 12 to 12,500 lbs. Thanks in advance for your comments

Stay as far away from carlisle as you can.  As much as trailer tires are I think I would go with a truck tire

I run Nanco tires on both of my flatbed utility trailers. One is single axle, the other is tandem. I use them for work, overload them on occasion, and they have been trouble free for over three years.

Also had them on a 29ft boat trailer. A 21ft and a 26ft toyhaler.
All trouble free.

I believe they are available in 16" also.

I also know people that use the Greenball tires and have equally good luck.

Maxxis is what I have on my Polaris.

Goodyear.....no opnion.

Hi-run......... seen them once, didn't look too healthy.

Carlisle......NO.

Just  an opinion.
