Dixie Forest/ Cedar City Area (Read 669 times)

Laura Cartlidge Newbies Offline I Love Utah! Posts: 3 Arizona Gender:	Dixie Forest/ Cedar City Area 08/08/12 at 07:35:36 Headed to Dixie Forest area outside of Cedar City. So is the riding good in that area? We like trail rides, just out to explore. We plan on 'dry camping' there so and ideas for locations there too? Thanks!

Laura,

Welcome to the forum...what areas are you looking to ride? There are some really nice trails out of the Duck Creek area which you can do some dry camping along the 148 area between the 143 and 14. Also there is some nice riding in and around the Panguitch Lake Area where you can also find some nice dry camping up there just off the 143 at Hatch Mountain (FS 070)...Enjoy and if you need any other info in and around these areas please feel free to ask or send me a PM thanks.
