What a great bunch of people and the food was great. Every ride we did was well organized with amazing views.
I won the trailer and My wife won a gas can and neither have ever won a thing before.

A Big thank you to all those that worked this event because I have never seen one this HUGE!

That is a very cool picture.  Which ride was it?  I notice a huge majority of S X S machines.  Was that on purpose or by accident, or does that reflect the composition of the Jamboree this year.

The photo is at the stopping/turn around point for the Peek A Boo Canyon ride.   In your photo while looking at the machines, if you were to turn to the right, you walk a couple of hundred yards up a beautiful little slot canyon of red sandstone.  It is ride #15 in the Tri State Jamboree newspaper and starts about 7 miles North of Kanab.
It is listed as a beginner/intermediate ride which it is.

@tainman, The Pic was Peek-a-boo near Pink Coral and yes there was a lot of side by sides, most I had ever seen.
Here is one south of Pink Coral, another fun ride.

@Jim, close but I confirmed your story about Hog Canyon and I am not going for it  Wink

Here is my side by side, the red ridge runner and a peek at the slot canyon.

You didn't get out to ride Hog Canyon? How did your machine fare after the roll-over? No damage I hope..

No Hog Canyon and the locals had a few stories to tell. The quad was down a whole quart of oil, thank goodness for full synthetics. Replaced the mirror bracket and we are in full service, man I love Utah  Grin

Notice blue basket to hold crap in place, works awesome. No more loosing the lunch  Smiley

I went on Hog Canyon the first time this year.  I was in my Rzr and had no trouble.  There are two spots that were somewhat technical, but with the guides spotting, it was not hard - but you had to be careful.

I suggest spotters or roping an ORV to assist in the heling to go up the two rough spots.

We would like to come out for the jamboree next year. Do any of you bring RV's, and if so, where do you camp/set up?

There is always a large group of RV's that stay at the fairgrounds. This is the Tri-State headquarters. A short walk to the main building where all the activities are. The fairgrounds is dry camping but FREE. Join the club and get 6 days of guided rides. All the rides stage at the fairgrounds so its a great place to camp.
Rode Hog Canyon two days in a row. Once the normal way counter-clockwise and then the next day it was clockwise. Either way is a ball.  Did it with a 2011 RZR no trouble.
Looking farword to next year. Smiley

Thanks. That information really helps. I know there are a few rv parks in Hurricane with full hookups, but it would be more fun to be with all the people in town for the jamboree.
