I would not panic. What the ruling really said was that the travel plan was not done properly and they have to start over and do it again. The same thing happened with the Price BLM office and they are currently re inventorying the entire area for which they are responsible. As a result there have been trails added to their management plan that were as some suspect deliberately left off the original inventory for reasons anyone familiar with the prior management in that office is well aware. The Price office was forced to hire a third party independent company, screened for any bias or affiliation with parties with an agenda to do the inventory of routes and their assessment. Lets hope this is done with the Richfield office as well.

This means we have a second opportunity to make sure they do it right and we will once again have an opportunity for public input and comments. Last time we LOST trails in several areas, trails we may now be able to fight to get back.
