I sure hope they were able to clean/replace the vandalized plaque. The trail has nice connectors and is in a very trailer friendly location just outside Moab.

Too bad it is so short and for the most part boring Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes.  We did it last thanksgiving and combined it with Tusher and Seven Mile Ridge and that made it into a great ride.

Kind of the same as what I said, but you did this:   Roll Eyes

Undecided There is a little more to this event than a ride. I'll be there, if for no other reason than to show my respect for those officers who sacrificed all in the line of duty.

I didn't intend to make light of the monument. Speaking on the monument, I hope its been cleaned or replaced. Last year when I was there, it had been defaced.

I am planning on attending.

Does anyone know of a good place to park a 26' toyhauler close to the trailhead?  I don't want to take parking space during the event.

I am going down Thursday night and riding Friday as well.  Anybody wanting to ride with a few of us on a loop that goes west to Tuscher, Desolation Towers and Seven Mile Rim is sure welcome to ride along.

Thanks, SARrider

When I rode that last year, I just parked in the big graded area across from the RV park, then followed the "ATV" trail all the way down. There is some parking at the staging area, but its not much if there are many camped there.

Well the bright side is now you have pretty pink mud all over your ride. Wink Cheesy
I kept watching the weather report turn from sun and low sixties for Moab into cloudy and then 50% chance of rain and low 50's.  Forecasters change their minds faster than any woman I know!

What trails did you get to ride?

Well...$50 later in the car wash... Undecided Undecided

The mud set up like concrete on my truck and Wildcat.  I pretty easily had 2" of mud on every somewhat horizontal surface of my Wildcat.

Oh my gosh...but it was worth it.  To see the tribute, meet the loved ones of our fallen officers and to do what I can to supoort their children.  Impressive.  Good people.

It rained and rained.  At lease to cleared up the Saturday of the ride.

I will be back next year.

Just about everything that could go wrong..wet wrong but I did have a great time and I made some new friends.

I do not often promote a business so when I do you know that they went out of their way to keep me riding. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Somehow I popped a tire off the bead and it was not holding air so I took it into Moab and found "Dirtseekers" just as they were closing.  They were extremely reasonable and they took care of me so that I would be able to ride on the Saturday Fallen Officer Ride.

Great bunch!
