I put a roof, roof rack, tailgate, and front bumper on the wife's new chariot.   Fender flare extensions and a rear bumper are yet to come.

Finlay broke down and put that set of injectors I've had sitting in the barn for ages and gave the old Dodge a pump tune up and a proper overhead adjustment.

I didn't realize how rough she was until I fired it up and it purred like a newborn kitty. Funny how you get used to gradual changes in noise and power, then make a little change and its like a brand new toy LOL

Now to see if the power boost these injectors claim to give is worth it or were they just blowing smoke in their specifications.

Replaced the original right rear axle on the 2012 Grizzly 550 with a Tusk axle a couple weeks ago.  The axle had been making a loud clicking noise when turning to the right.  4200 miles.  No cuts in the CV joint boot.  After removing the axle we could feel a resistance spot when moving the CV joint nearest the wheel.  Cut the boot open and still full of grease.  Tusk axle was easy install and clicking noise gone.  Bearings were still tight. This is the first repair I have had to make on the Grizzly.

That is pretty typical of a Yamaha Grizzly.  I think they are the most reliable ATV made.

How did you wire it up, Phil? I'm hopeful you used 8-10ga wiring. When I ran mine, I found the wiring I used was insufficient (12ga), and went to a massive 8ga.. But I ran mine and installed in the bed of the JT and atop the passenger side tire well.

Narrowed the RZR 800 S to 50" getting ready for the Paiute Trail. Put a winch on the 850 Sportsman and downloaded the Paiute Trail into both Lowrance GPS.

Who'd you have install your ARB twin-air? I must have blown an air line, because my train horns stopped working.. downside of having air lines under the JT when wheeling!  Wink

As for me, I washed both our SxS and my Gladiator. I made another trek down into Parowan yesterday in the CanAm X3 (this time) and was it EVER nasty and muddy..

D&H Repair, in Cedar City.  I have used them for years, on many different vehicles, and they have always done good work.

You need a high pressure line between the compressor and the air chuck connection.  Heat makes regular air line get soft and it ruptures.  This mount that I am using is by Grimm Off Road, and uses a braided stainless steel air line for that section.

Spent a few hours in my heated garage yesterday adding some mods to the CanAm X3.

-Gun Rack mount (for shovel) on the rear
-Removed the soft top and installed a hard top roof
-Mounted up 4 new tires
-Added a ceiling mounted storage bag
-Added a rear roll-bar mounted medical kit
-Repurposed my tech mount from the Jeep and installed center console (for tablet, phone, GoPro, etc)

Its time to ride!!

I think Jim learned more about tech gadgets in one day than I have in my whole life.  His off road machines are pretty nice with all the high tech screens on the dash.  I wouldn't know how to use half of it. Roll Eyes

I did a little work on one of my SxS's over the weekend.  I normally would just take this somewhere to do it, but my youngest son has developed an interest in auto's after years of interest only in games and computers.  We did the work ourselves in the garage, including installing new suspension and skid plates.  I went with Eibach springs, King shocks, Yeti track bars, and Metalcloak control arms and skid plates.

The Jeep.  It isn't a radical change, just helping the stock-ish set up work better.  I promised to leave this one stock.  But since we know "stock" just means the motor isn't coming out ...

STOCK? Who's that? I've never heard of her!  Rolling on floor laughing

Now that being stated, I did promise to keep my currently being built Ford F450 Dually STOCK.. I wonder how long that will last!  Grin

Ok, this is still "stock" in my mind.

Here are the subtle suspension changes.  A little better, but still "stock".

And here are the skid plates we installed.  Now it slides over obstacles, like any other UTV, instead of catching and grinding over everything.
