Jim doesn't buy machines to collect dust.  He rides every chance he gets and maintains his equipment well.  Quads are not bulletproof and will require repairs regardless of who makes them.

Personally, I thought your post was in poor taste.

walkerskawi - I think your "social interaction" skills could use some work. Rather than the sledge hammer in the face confrontational approach, why don't you dial down the rhetoric a little? You'll have a more harmonious outcome.

Jim has 'documented' a lot of the problems he's had with the Polaris he's selling, but he's also had repairs undertaken by authorized Polaris repair shops. Personally, I'd say he's shared the problems he's had in the mutual interest and benefit of anyone who might have similar problems. What MORE have YOU done when your machine breaks? I really wish you'd share that with the forum since you've chosen to criticize Jim here in an open forum.

So which would you prefer? Someone who tells you what he's selling or someone who conceals the maintenance history so you can find out the hard way? Which of these sellers would you be?

This machine is no longer for sale. Instead, I'm investing ~$3500 in a total overhaul of the suspension, frame and doing some serious maintenance. This will be the bionic PoPo when I'm done.

I decided that besides serious maint, I'm doing Elka Stage 4 shocks, new 27" tires (Sedona Rip Saw) and a slew of other stuff.

Then, as a backup plan, I'm going to add Power Steering to my 2008 Kawi BF 750i, get the 4x4 fixed and keep that as secondary.
