UTAH - BLM Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Trail System for Recapture Canyon REMINDER
ACTION NEEDED - COMMENT DEADLINE IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2016

Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,

This is a reminder that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Monticello Field Office is seeking public comment on an environmental assessment (EA) analyzing a proposed trail system for Recapture Canyon near Blanding, Utah.  The EA responds to San Juan County’s application for a right-of-way that would provide additional off-road, motorized travel opportunities in the Recapture Canyon area. The public comment period ends on Monday, October 24, 2016, and comments can be submitted online.

It is important for OHVers to learn the local perspective and to weigh in on the BLM's Recapture Canyon EA in the manner that OHVers believe would best promote responsible recreation.
