The attitude of the front people really reflects the whole business atmosphere! Loved the story and best of all, your favorable court outcome! How can anyone that is so solrry stay in business? It's like the stations selling unneeded tires between SLC and St. George.

This is what I hate the most about modifying vehicles. I've been modifying vehicls for 45 years, and finding a good quality shop is so hard to do. They are far and few between, with lots of places with horrible quality work and even more horrible customer service. I have grown so tired of it that these days I would have just taken the $26K and used it with my trade in to buy a new Ram with 900 ft. lbs and an Aisin transmission, and called it good.

Oh wait, I did do that, last year.

Anyway, its good to hear someone has stood up to one of these shops, and held them accountable. Good job Jim. Excellent write up.

At the time, I was either going to buy a new Ford F450 Dually (+$100,000), or invest in my current truck. I just couldn't in good conscience spend that much on a truck I knew I was going to upgrade again anyway, so the decision was obviously to invest in my current rig.

I'm glad to report that Gilette Diesel really did great work in addressing all the crap work that UDC did and my truck is a beast now with injectors, turbo, intercooler, fuel, transmission, etc..
