Polaris General Sway Bars

I recently purchased a General, and have loved the machine.  It does what I need and the ride is better for my wife's neck.
Anyhow, I have heard of people disconnecting the sway bars to effect better ride characteristics in certain rough terrain.  They say it helps with rock crawling and trail navigation.  Should I disconnect front only, or front and back?
Your input and experience would help me out a ton.   Smiley

So far I have just removed the front bar. It makes a HUGE difference, just like it does on an atv. You get the full travel of the suspension and much better ride. Don't just unhook it, completely remove it. Remove the link from the drivers side of the bar and it will slide right out the passenger side of the General. Put the links and the bar on a shelf and forget about it. I did disconnect the rear as well, and took a short ride around the block. Pulled into the garage and hooked it right back up. I'm not quite ready for that much body lean yet. I think an upgrade to aftermarket shocks and springs are in order before I remove the rear bar again.
