The cemetery is a good place to stage. We may be able to use the grassy area just outside Tanya's RV park, but I am not sure on that. Plan on the cemetery.

I have asked the town to mow that grassy area so it can be used for parking again this year.

Is there a GPS file available of the route? I would like to run it the day before.

We know where we are planning the route but it won't be totally finalized for another couple weeks. Watch here for the route file.

Is the track a Secret until Sunday Rolling on floor laughing

Yes, actually it is. Mike (RUT) and I will be placing signs up today and would prefer to not be overrun by those eager to ride this route before the Saturday event.

Sadly, I've received plenty of requests for the route from those that have no interest in participating in the Raffle Prize / Donation event. I mean, the only reason we host this thing is to fund trails development. In this case, I hope to put up a Kiosk center-town of Circleville highlighting trails that aren't on the NAT Geo / Paiute trails map.

And for the record, we did provide a map of the route (created by Piute County) on the Facebook event page. Some has even figured out how to convert that into .GPX format and load into their GPS's.. Wink

This was yet another great event with a great turn-out. We did a 60 mile loop. Thanks to all those that participated!

Our family sure had a good time.  I like having everyone start the trail when they want to, between 7 and 11 AM, instead of everyone being in a big group and following a leader.  The trail was well marked and fun to ride.  Thanks to everyone that helped pull this off.

BF, will you be organizing a Poker Run this year? Even though you were not able to have one last year we did enjoy the 60 mile ride!

Its not looking favorable this year unless I do it later in the year. I'm in the process of purchasing property and a new home in Panguitch, so its likely I'll be spending most of the Spring relocating and moving 25 years worth of stuff.

*IF* we try this again, it would be in August and at elevation for a nice change..
