I would spend more time on the trails to the east than to the west. Razorchan was one of the guides to the west and did a great job, but the trees and trails seem to be better to the east.

As the committee gets closer to the Rally we are watching closely the Covid-19 issue at hand, at this time we are still green but monitoring on a weekly basis !! Hope to see everyone this year.

She retired in March and always had school startup that interfered with time off in August & September. Hope the Arapeen can still happen. Looking forward to 2021.

Jim we are seeing an slight uptick in cases in Panguitch so the committee decided it was best to cancel in the best interest of the community !!

That is too bad that they are going to cancel the event in Panguitch.

There is a UTV Rally in Cedar City this weekend. It actually is on July 30th, 31st, and August 1st, so it starts tomorrow morning. It is called the "Rally in the Valley", and it is sponsored by D&P Performance and Can-Am. I will be attending the rally, and just checked in an hour ago to make my trail selections, and to pick-up my t-shirts and tickets for the dinner on Saturday night.

There will be three trails this year. Trail 1 is a mountain run, at high elevation on Cedar Mountain, and I will be running that trail tomorrow. Trail 2 is a trail on Bumblebee Mountain, so also a mountain run, but lower elevation than Cedar Mountain. Trail 3 is a rock crawling trail that is called Wild West Trail. I found it interesting that they are still using this Wild West Trail. I was the one that developed this trail, twenty years ago, in a Jeep. We used it a few times for a Jeep rally held in Cedar City, but the rally died out after a few years. The local four wheelers have kept the trail alive it would appear. It would have been interesting to see what changes have been made to the trail since I last ran it about a decade ago. But I decided not to beat up the new X3, and chose the two mountain trails this year.
