Your favorite Utah RV Park ? (Read 106 times)

We've looked at Hoovers (when it was mostly a restaurant destination), Big Rock Candy Mountain, South Forty and over the weekend, Escalante Cabins & RV Park. Ideally, looking for a location with some form of OHV activity..

I don't know if I would call these a "favorite" or not, but the three we stay at the most are 1. Riverside Ranch, in Hatch, because it has easy access to the Paunsaugunt trail system through Proctor Canyon. 2. The RV park at the dam at Otter Creek Reservoir, because it has easy access to fishing and to the Paiute Trail up the Hickman Canyon switchbacks, then around the loop and back to Otter Creek by way of Rocky Ford Trail. 3. The RV park behind the antique store in Koosharem, because it also has easy access to some of the best of the Paiute Trail.

This park is currently at the top of our list. I think you'll quite enjoy it. Be sure to run straight from the park up to Powell Point and to Hells Backbone while you're there.

Also, at 4pm, the Hells Backbone grill & farm opens for dinner. I highly recommend you try it out. James Beard award winning facility!
