Found this Salamander this morning
09/01/21 at 07:22:17

I live 4 miles north of Panguitch.. its all farm and ranch land out here, not lizard terrain. I'm thinking this is a Tiger Salamander, possibly dropped by a bird. I see there are some native species, but they're found in wet areas in Bryce Canyon..

Any specialists in this area?

I'm certainly not an expert but sure have had my time playing with them as a kid.  Heck just the other day I found a couple in our swamp.  Generally they like water just to breed I've been told.  They say most of the time they spend their time in range land or farm fields.   We'll I'm saying the only time I have ever run into them, literally 100's of times in my life, has been near water. I must have been lucky to catch them when their were feeling intimate  Rolling on floor laughing

So, as it turns out, these are native to my property. Found some others yesterday. Seems the rain we've been getting brings them out of hiding.
