Lexin B4FM Helmet com. system

Anybody else have anything so they can talk with other riders while riding?  Got a set for Christmas, the Lexin B4FM.  They are not the top of the line but for talking while riding I would give it 9 out of 10.  I would give it 8 out of 10 for receiving phone calls while riding.  For listening to music I may be spoiled by my Bose headphone but would only give them 5 or 6 out of 10.  If money is not an issue  I'm sure the well know name brands can out perform these but if you ATV on a budget as I do I would recommend them.

We have a Rugged Radio w/Intercom & VHF/UHF radio in the CanAm X3, and Baofeng radios for the ATV's (with throat mic). Do these attach to the outside of the helmet? How powered and what is the range?

They mount to the outside of the helmet with ear pieces and mic. mounted inside.  They are blue tooth and rated about 1/4 mile but it is less when there is no line of site.  They claim you can pair 10 of them together and that in a line of riders they will stretch to 2000 meters.  I only have 2 and they work well when riding together.  If we explore different trails they don't work but when we get close again they reconnect on their own.

That's good to know. I've been eyeballing these for a little bit.  I want something to be able to communicate with my kids while on their dirtbikes.  I like that they are an open line of communication and they don't have to worry about hitting a talk button on a radio.  They have enough to figure out and pay attention to while learning to ride haha.
