I need some unusual help from you knowledgeable people.
We are also headed to Kanab in March. My daughter-in-law gets real anxiety attacks with any sort of cliff ride. I need a good ride where I will NOT ride on cliffy sections. NONE of any sort!
Not my usual riding, but I love my kids and need such a trail.
Any ideas?
She can wait in the lodge for the other rides. Grin

So, that excludes Hog Canyon and the Barracks. You could run the sand in/around Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon (just north of Hog Canyon and just off HWY89).

Alternatives would be to trailer up the hill and run the flats / mesas overlooking Kanab and into Arizona (but you'd need an AZ sticker).

You also have the Johnson Canyon area just south/East of town.. search for the old movie sets outside Kanab -- as most all of that is flat.
