I got lucky on my timing.

I decided to check the wheel bearings on my trailer this weekend.  I was sure they were fine, but decided to just for fun.

The bearings still look fine, but they're juuuust starting to get gritty, even all cleaned out.  I have a feeling they would have gone downhill pretty quickly rolling down the highway fully loaded.  Turns out trailer bearings, like everything else, are hard to find, but I managed to get some Timkins on the way.

I don't usually get this lucky, finding out about a problem before it happens, and when I actually have time to take care of it.   Rolling on floor laughing

Good find! Nothing worse than spinning a bearing miles from home. I have had a few in my life time, mostly on boat trailers.
