Yesterday for lunch, we thought we'd do the ~35 minute drive to Marysvale for Pizza. Had some hot wings and some great pizza, then decided we'd offroad back home. Up the PST02 we went.

As we got closer to 8500', we noticed that sections of the trail were washed out and had debris from heavy rains obscuring the  trail. No worries, I was in 4H and in a capable rig. We continued up. Now at 10,000' and heading toward Delano Peak, it was obvious the rains did some good damage up here.

We were the ONLY vehicle on the mountain. The clouds were intense, but the weather held.

Normally this time of year and especially with the bow hunt starting this week, Big John Flat would be packed with people, ATV"s and campers.. Not so much this year. I think we counted 3 campers staged for the hunt and no ATV's at all.

It was a great and super scenic trip back south toward Panguitch!
