Wow! These things are still insane expensive. After minor mods, still around $20k and change. Thinking about getting a 2023 unit and retiring my 2018 now sitting next to my 2014.. might put both of them up for sale/trade.

I have a CanAm X3 as a SxS, but never considered their ATV's offerings. Other than a crap fuel pump from the factory, never any issues with the Polaris ATV's. I used to be solid Kawasaki ATV's, but Kawi hasn't changed that 850 in over 10 years..

That being said... it seems like the biggest improvements over the last 10 years are mostly more flashy plastics, overpriced factory accessories, and a horsepower war.  And it seems to me that even on the "wimpier" machines, you run out of suspension faster than you run out of horsepower, which is why I'd be interested in those tasty Fox shocks.

I realize that the Utility ATV market is shrinking rapidly due to the SxS market, but I can't help but daydream about a 50" machine with the wheels pushed right out to about 49.5", and that extra space used for longer travel.... Polaris went that route with the "S" line, but they went a few inches too far, and dang if they aren't going to be $20k out the door before you add any accessories.   

Man, talking horsepower... my wife's Maverick Sport Max has a normally-aspirated V-twin that pushes that 4-seater well over 70mph if you want, it's got plenty of power.  And Can-Am stuffs that same engine in their ATV if you want, just de-tuned something like 9%.
